Happy Hour and Fizz Friday! - Don't forget to make it to the Club for our popular Friday afternoon Happy 2 Hours from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. Our Fizz Friday deal will be available all day Friday so we look forward to seeing you there.

Summer Pizzas! - Every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 7pm you can now order a selection of Pizzas (medium size, 6 slice) for just £8 a pop! They include Pepperoni, Vegetarian, Hawaiian, Margherita (only £6) and Meat Feast - Last orders for Pizza will be at 6:50pm so don't be late.

Worthies Craft and Makers Market

For info about any aspect of the Makers Fairs in 2024/5, please email the event organiser Carol at carolansell24@gmail.com or enquire within the Club. Upcoming dates pencilled in so far:

22nd September, 27th October and the 24th November. There will also be a Christmas fair on the 8th December. All fairs open from 10:30 am until 2:30pm on the day. If you'd like to exhibit it'll be £20 payable to Carol.

27th July - Race Night in aid of the charity Dreams Come True so come along and show your support - the fun kicks off at 6pm and runs through to 9:30pm. Owners, Trainers and Jockeys available now for only £2 each. There will be £1 tote betting on the night and a free quiz with music as well.

4th August - Sunday Night Bingo

18th August - Sunday Night Bingo

19th August - Monday Night Jazz Jam

14th September - Worthys Festival - Eversley Park: The Club will be providing our usual support for this superb annual event. We'll be open for everyone from midday until 11pm. Out in the park you can expect the usual great music, food stalls and other attractions. Further info available on the festival Facebook page, simply search for "Worthys Music Festival".

Bingo - As per the entertainment update above, our next session will be held on Sunday the 4th of August. The next session after this will be on Sunday the 18th of August 2024.

On the day, sales open at 6:30pm with eyes down at 7:30pm. (Please bear with us if things need to change at short notice)

Pass the word around and we look forward to seeing you there. Just in case you were unaware, you must be a fully paid up member to participate in some of the games.

Opening Hours - as many of you will know, we're still applying winter opening hours which are as follows:

Mon      –             4pm to 10 pm

Tue       –             4pm to 10 pm

Wed      –             12 Noon to 11pm

Thu       –             4pm to 10 pm

Fri         –             12 Noon to 11pm

Sat        –             12 Noon to 11pm

Sun       –              12 Noon to 6pm - Subject to custom - Please note, on fortnightly bingo nights       (see dates above) the Club will remain open on those Sunday nights until 10pm.

Membership Applications  - Applications for annual membership for the 2024/25 year remains at £20 for those aged 18 to 59 years and £10 for those aged 60+.

Please be aware that if you are not a member and you visit the Club, you will have to pay a non-member surcharge for drinks.

Introduction to the WSSC from the Club President:

The Worthies Sports and Social Club is a friendly Members Club serving the Worthies in Winchester (Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy, Martyr Worthy and Abbots Worthy) and surrounding villages. Our premises offer a welcoming and comfortable environment for social activities. We have regular Saturday night entertainment making the Club a great meeting place for those who enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

A well stocked bar with competitively priced drinks is available. The Club may also be able to help you with that special function by providing a venue and buffet facilities. We are open to enquiries and will be happy to give you a quote for the service you, or your organisation, may require.
