Easter Opening Hours - Fri 29th, 12 noon to 10pm, Sat, 12 noon to midnight, Easter Sunday, 12 noon until 10pm and Bank Holiday Monday, 2pm until 8pm.

 

Also... Happy Hour News! - From this Friday, that's Good Friday the 29th March, we are pleased to announce that we'll be extending our popular Happy Hour to a happy 2 hours from 4:30 to 6:30 in the afternoon. Look forward to seeing you there.

 

Royal British Legion (RBL) News - The Worthies branch of the RBL will be holding a celebratory D-Day event on Tuesday the 4th of June. More information to follow so watch this space.

Winter Opening - Please note that we are still subject to winter opening hours so on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we will open from 6pm and not 4pm. All other opening hours remain the same.

 

Sky Sports - All your favourite teams on our huge HD screens and as well as the football, we can now offer the full range of Sky and BT Sports.

4th May - Top DJ Mick C with special guest the Stevie Wonder tribute act Godfrey D. 7pm until midnight. Wristbands £15 (non-refundable). Please contact Sue on 07881 563088 for more info. This is a fundraiser for Winchester Hospice and promises to be a great night.

20th May - Monday night Jazz Jam

25th May - Live band The Ace Tones - Top tribute band to the golden age of 50's Rock 'n' Roll

Bingo - As per the entertainment update above, our next session will be held on Sunday the 31st March. The next session after this will be on Sunday the 14th April 2024.

 

On the day, sales open at 6:30pm with eyes down at 7:30pm. (Please bear with us if things need to change at short notice)

 

Pass the word around and we look forward to seeing you there. Just in case you were unaware, you must be a fully paid up member to participate in some of the games.

 

Opening Hours - as many of you will know, we're still applying winter opening hours which are as follows:

 

Mon      –             6pm to 10 pm

Tue       –             6pm to 10 pm

Wed      –             12 Noon to 11pm

Thu       –             6pm to 10 pm

Fri         –             12 Noon to 10 pm

Sat        –             12 Noon to 11pm

Sun       –             12 Noon to 6pm - Subject to custom

 

Membership Applications  - Applications for annual membership for the 2024/25 year remains at £20 for those aged 18 to 59 years and £10 for those aged 60+.

 

Please be aware that if you are not a member and you visit the Club, you will have to pay a non-member surcharge for drinks.

Introduction to the WSSC from the Club President:

The Worthies Sports and Social Club is a friendly Members Club serving the Worthies in Winchester (Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy, Martyr Worthy and Abbots Worthy) and surrounding villages. Our premises offer a welcoming and comfortable environment for social activities. We have regular Saturday night entertainment making the Club a great meeting place for those who enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

 

A well stocked bar with competitively priced drinks is available. The Club may also be able to help you with that special function by providing a venue and buffet facilities. We are open to enquiries and will be happy to give you a quote for the service you, or your organisation, may require.
